I am a clinical psychologist licensed in both New Jersey and New York, and a New Jersey certified school psychologist. I earned my Masters of Science and Doctorate of Psychology from the Combined School-Clinical Psychology Program at Yeshiva University’s Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology. I completed an APA-accredited internship at Rutgers University Behavioral Healthcare in Newark, NJ, where I had the opportunity to work in both community health and hospital settings. As a NJ certified school psychologist, I have also had the opportunity to work in the public school system as part of the Child Study Team.
I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults presenting with a variety of emotional, behavioral, and social challenges. Common issues that I treat include anxiety, depression, ADHD, anger, OCD, interpersonal difficulties, and self-esteem issues. I also provide parent training and consultation. I use an integrative approach to treatment, with interventions drawn from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based skills, movement-based skills, and play therapy. I am also trained in psychodynamic therapy and family systems therapy.
I believe that therapeutic work is most productive when aligned with an empathetic and nonjudgmental environment. I tailor treatment to meet the unique and diverse needs of each person. I am passionate about supporting your efforts toward improving health and wellness, as well as offering guidance on ways to access intrinsic strengths in order to experience personal success.
